~Birthdays at the Stanworth home~

The month of March is full of birthdays at the Stanworth home:
KC turned 30 on the 19th,
Jen tunred 24 on the 25th,
MaKenzie turned 1 on the 28th.

We celebrated MaKenzie's birthday on the 20th and here are some pictures.

Kenzie had 3 Great Grandmas here to celebrate her birthday amongst numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Kenzie wasn't into opening her presents I had to help her open some and same with the cousins. Also she didn't want much to do with the cupcake, either. I love it when she skips her afternoon nap she is so pleasant. NOT!!!

Kenzie got some clothes, a pink/purple dump truck, a vaccum that pops when you move it, a baby stroller and some other toys. She made out like a bandit. KC got some reloading supplies and some things for the new truck, and I got 2 pairs of jeans and some shirts.

~Tubes~

On Thursday the 26th we took MaKenzie to the doctor for yet another ear infection and this time I asked our doctor if we could have tubes inserted in her ears and he said "I think that would be a great idea, seems how this is her 4th infection since November." So on Tuesday March 2nd we headed to the hospital to get the procedure done. Here are some fun pictures of the ordeal.

Before they took her back....

Grandma showing Kenzie the controls on the bed.

PEEK...

A BOO!!!

We were cuddling with the blanket.

After the surgery...(they warned us she would be crying and comabative for 40 to 45 mins.

Me trying to calm her down. While throwing a fit the pjs came off.

You can't tell but she was kicking up a storm, so we laid her down.

Ok now it is dad's turn.

Not a happy camper.

The oximeter.

Exactly 40 mins. later.

MaKenzie was crawling around, talking and wanted her pj's back on when she finally woke up from the anathesia. Her cousin Taven had the same surgery and this is them playing in the wagon at the hospital.

We are thankful that we did this procedure because it is like we have a new baby, she is laughing more and she is even standing by herself now.
