~We are still here~

We have been busy these last couple of months; hunting, entertaining friends when they come down to hunt, decorating for the holidays, shopping, going up the mountain for load after load of firewood for the family. Instead of a Bed & Breakfast our house has become a Bed & Dinner because the boys usually wake up around 5 or 6 a.m. and don't come home until 6 p.m. so I usually only make dinner.  There isn't any pictures with this post, I am having my gall-bladder taken out on the 20th, and don't go back to work until the 28th so I will have plenty of time to post pictures of the deer hunt and of Christmas.

~Lately~

MaKenzie has become such the little Dare Devil, you turn your back for just a minute and she is climbing up anything.  My parents are doing some remodeling in their kitchen/front room so they have all sorts of ladders out and MaKenzie will climb up them, turn around and just say "HI" and giggle.  The other day I laid her down for a nap and noticed she was way too quite, so I walked by and she climbed up on the corner of the crib and was just sitting there with her legs on the outside. Needless to say that night I had KC help lower the mattress to the lowest position.

She has learned a new word, "MINE" everything is hers.  She will grab my purse and say "Mine, bye,"  then she will give us a kiss and head for the door.

We have a couple of stuffed geese and ducks in our front room, every morning she will say "Hi Goose, Hi Duck, Hi Mama Hi Daddy" and then when it is bedtime she will say "Ninight Goose, Ninight Duck, Ninight Mama, Ninight Daddy."  She has found the deer racks in the garage and will say "Hi Deer."  Speaking of geese and ducks, KC showed MaKenzie his calls, she loves them, she even loves to sit with her daddy and watch the Hunting Channel and laughs everytime she hears a goose or a duck.

She loves it when we go outside at night and she will point up and say "Stars and Oon."

I can't believe how fast she is growing and all the words she knows.

~Fishlake~

A couple weekends ago we drove down to Fishlake and spent the day fishing.

KC & Kenzie waiting for the fish to bite.

Finally got one.

She finally would hold the fish and I took a couple other pictures and while doing so I slipped and dropped the camera in the lake. :(

~Working~

I really don't like the summer KC works from 5:30/6:00 a.m. till about 8-9 p.m. So MaKenzie and I keep busy by going the park to swing, we play in the pool, and we take plenty of walks through Hinckley.

MaKenzie is such a water baby, everytime you turn the hose on she runs to it and wants to play.

No pictures yet, trying to figure out what the heck blogspot is doing. GGGGRRRR.

~Dancer~

MaKenzie loves to dance her little heart out, everytime she hears any time of music she will shake her body and dance. She especially loves it when we put CMT on while we do house work she will shake her little butt and swing her arms.

She has learned to give raspberries, plug her nose and say "incky" when she has a messy diaper, she loves to go out side and pluck the flowers and hold them in her hands and say "pretty pretty."

Every one have a happy Memorial Day.

~Volleyball~

Still no pictures, waiting for my mom to play with them in Photo Shop. Hint!Hint! Plus I pick up our family pictures on Wednesday, so hopefully this weekend we will post them.

Back to the title on this post this past Fall I played Co-Ed Volleyball and our team took 3rd place(in the lower bracket). And about a month ago I played Women's Volleyball and our team took 2nd(in the lower bracket). Both seasons had about 16 teams so they did 2 brackets, top 8 and the lower 8.

Now we are off to Women's Softball, are first game was last Wednesday however because of the rain it was cancelled. So we play this Wednesday and we will see how that goes, the last time I played was Co-Ed 2 yrs. ago when we found out that I was pregnant with Kenzie. Hopefully this will get my stomach back into shape. HAHAHA

I have been playing Co-Ed Volleyball, Women's Volleyball, Co-Ed Softball for the last 7 yrs and love every minute of it and yes I did play while I pregnant. Women's Softball I have only played a couple times.

~Photographer~

I love my job, these past couple of weeks we have had some local High Schools and Universities come to Ash Grove Cement Plant and we have given them different types of Career Day tours. I get to go along with the tours and take photos, so we can sumbit them to the local newspapers. Plus I think it is kind of neat to see the big gears and crushers working up close. I am a dork.

~Walking~

MaKenzie is finally walking, she will take several steps then realizes she wants to go back to crawling. She is loving the warm weather and will play outside for hours with her cousins. When I get home from work we either load up in the wagon or the stroller and walk around Hinckley and look at all the farm animals. She is fascinated with horses (Holli I think it is time to take pictures) but everytime we get close her little eyes start watering and her nose just runs. Also the news keeps saying that cotton, elm, and oak allergies are really high right now. Who knows??

We have been cleaning up the yard and planting flowers and antiques (old milk can, an old water spicket and a old wheel barrow as a planter). I am also on the look out for some antique tractor wheels or a little tractor to put a flower bed. So if anyone knows where I could get some PLEASE let me know.

We get family pictures done this weekend, when we get those back I will post them and same with Kenzie's 1 year pictures.

~Easter~

This year was MaKenzie 2nd Easter and it was little bit more fun seems how last year she was only a week old. She was more interested in the plastic eggs than her presents, except for her little trucks. And yes we got her some trucks:

Her Sippies

Her Swimsuit

Her Trucks

Her Shades

Her Outfits

And of course it isn't Easter in Delta with out a little snow.

~Birthdays at the Stanworth home~

The month of March is full of birthdays at the Stanworth home:
KC turned 30 on the 19th,
Jen tunred 24 on the 25th,
MaKenzie turned 1 on the 28th.

We celebrated MaKenzie's birthday on the 20th and here are some pictures.

Kenzie had 3 Great Grandmas here to celebrate her birthday amongst numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Kenzie wasn't into opening her presents I had to help her open some and same with the cousins. Also she didn't want much to do with the cupcake, either. I love it when she skips her afternoon nap she is so pleasant. NOT!!!

Kenzie got some clothes, a pink/purple dump truck, a vaccum that pops when you move it, a baby stroller and some other toys. She made out like a bandit. KC got some reloading supplies and some things for the new truck, and I got 2 pairs of jeans and some shirts.

~Tubes~

On Thursday the 26th we took MaKenzie to the doctor for yet another ear infection and this time I asked our doctor if we could have tubes inserted in her ears and he said "I think that would be a great idea, seems how this is her 4th infection since November." So on Tuesday March 2nd we headed to the hospital to get the procedure done. Here are some fun pictures of the ordeal.

Before they took her back....

Grandma showing Kenzie the controls on the bed.

PEEK...

A BOO!!!

We were cuddling with the blanket.

After the surgery...(they warned us she would be crying and comabative for 40 to 45 mins.

Me trying to calm her down. While throwing a fit the pjs came off.

You can't tell but she was kicking up a storm, so we laid her down.

Ok now it is dad's turn.

Not a happy camper.

The oximeter.

Exactly 40 mins. later.

MaKenzie was crawling around, talking and wanted her pj's back on when she finally woke up from the anathesia. Her cousin Taven had the same surgery and this is them playing in the wagon at the hospital.

We are thankful that we did this procedure because it is like we have a new baby, she is laughing more and she is even standing by herself now.

~7~

MaKenzie now has 7 teeth, 4 on top and 3 on bottom. She is pulling herself up to things and starting to walk along furniture. She is really fascinated with Yoda and crawls after him. MaKenzie has learned where the dog food and water bowls are and loves to play in them. Especially the water she will put her hand in it and say "UhOh". She can now say MaMa, DaDa, Ba, Oh, and UhOh. She can give you kisses (they are a little wet) and she wave. Her hair is coming in alot more. She now has wings by her ears and you can put a pony tail in it.

~Another One...~

After a long night of Kenzie not feeling well I took the day off and made a doctor's appointment for her. Yep, another ear infection.:( Poor little girl I wish she could just tell us what is wrong.

Kenzie is completely off of formula, which has been nice. She takes after me she loves her vegetables and if you even think of feeding her fruit she will gag and gag. Vegetables are the best:)

I am back to work and love being back in to a routine. KC is working which is hard due to the weather. Gotta love construction, however he has applied for other jobs some of them are out of town. Our fingers are crossed.

Another highlight that I am looking forward to is THE GOOSE HUNT WILL BE DONE THIS WEEKEND. Yeppie:) Exept for one condition there is the one week in February where there is the Snow Goose hunt.

MaKenzie was so excited for her new doll.

She also liked her rocking chair.
